He has authored material studied in police academies in Massachusetts. A skilled general investigator and manager, Mr. Gallagher retired from Landers Service Company in 2007 after 35 years association.

was for several decades, a prize winning Boston newspaperman who paralleled a high profile newspaper career with private investigation work. Mr. Landers had previously served as a member of a United States Coast Guard Intelligence Unit and later investigation work included 30 years in the litigation department of Hale and Dorr (today Wilmer Hale).
